Elegant stud earrings inspired by the sleek grace of swifts in flight.

I texture the silver with a real leaf skeleton, which cannot be reused so each piece is truly unique.

I make each swift using a technique called press forming, where I hammer flat silver sheet into a former, which gives each piece its gently, convex domed profile. I then hand pierce (saw) each 3 dimensional swift shape out from the piece of silver sheet.

The earrings are available in other finishes and in drop versions.

Each pair of earrings is handmade, making them uniquely beautiful. There may be slight variations from the images shown. The image of the earrings being worn shows the matte finish, which are the same design and size.

The studs have sterling silver butterfly backs.

Size

The birds measure approx. 17mm from nose to tail and have a wing span of 25mm.
