An elegant gold plated silver necklace inspired by the sleek grace of swifts in flight.
The beautiful convex swift pendant hangs on a sparkly diamond cut snake chain. I’ve textured the pendant using a real leaf skeleton.
I make each swift using a technique called press forming, where I hammer flat silver sheet into a former, which gives each piece its gently, convex domed profile. I then hand pierce (saw) each 3 dimensional swift shape out from the piece of silver sheet.
Size
The pendant measures approximately 32mm from nose to tail and has a wing span of 55mm. A 16"/40cm or 18"/45cm chain can be chosen.
